Shame on the Central Maine Sunday of June 6. What a shame that on the 77th Anniversary of D-Day the only acknowledgement of this historic event was in the comic section (“Red & Rover” and “The Wizard of ID”). From J.P. Devine to your opinion page, your paper totally dropped the ball.
If not for those brave heroic souls and the ultimate sacrifice they made, you wouldn’t have the freedom to print what you do. Just another example of the press getting it wrong.
Maybe if you start printing what this great country has gotten right rather than all that is negative day after day, it would make to be an improvement to the quality of our lives.
