CANAAN – Kathleen R. Brown, 81, died at Home on June 13, 2021 in Canaan. She was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Garland. Kathleen lived in Canaan. Kathleen loved telling her grandchildren “I love you to infinity and beyond and I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck.” Kathleen loved setting around the campfire with family and friends and she loved watching the many different birds that would go to the feeders and she loved her flowers.Kathleen is survived by her children, son James O. Brown and his wife Joleen M. Brown of Canaan, son Thomas H.A. Brown and his wife lda Brown of Solon, and her daughter Juanita Genness and her husband Daniel Genness of Fairfield; grandchildren, Amanda Todaro and her husband Anthony Todaro, Ashley Fournier and her husband Herby Fournier, Michael Griffeth and his girlfriend Harley Wellman Zackory Brown, Matthew Genness and his wife Ali Genness, Daniel Genness and his wife Brittany Genness, Luke Genness, Cassandra McChord; her great-grandchildren Jayden Todaro, Jacobe Todaro, Jordan McDaniel, Lydia McDaniel, June Griffeth, Noah Griffeth, Lincoln Genness, Sophia Genness, Annabelle Tasker, Eleanor Genness, Brothers Elton and Galen; sister Wilda; and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Thomas O. Brown; her son David A Brown; her brothers Junior, Royce, Meldon, and sisters Marjory and Phyllis. Interment will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan. Relatives and friends are welcome.
