What are you looking forward to doing now that the state of Maine is set to drop coronavirus restrictions at the end of June?
Things are heading back to normal, as Gov. Janet Mills recently announced the state of civil emergency that’s been in effect for more than a year in response to the coronavirus pandemic will end June 30.
It will effectively mark the ending of all restrictions that have been in place since COVID-19 began spreading in Maine last year. The state’s mask mandate for public schools and child care facilities will be dropped, although face coverings still will be recommended for those who are unvaccinated.
As pandemic restrictions in Maine and elsewhere are lifted, what do you look forward to doing that you haven’t been able to over the last year? Tell us in the comments below.
