PITTSTON – Thomas Ashford Carr, 79, of Pittston, Maine, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Gardiner, Maine, on Feb. 18, 1942, the son of Frank K. Sr., and Adele (Page) Carr.

Tom retired from the McGee Oil Company and had a small lawnmower repair shop in his “mancave” at his home in Pittston, where he lived with his wife and four-legged lawnmowing buddy, Gizmo. He enjoyed camping in the West Forks and spending time with his family and friends.

Thomas is survived by his wife Dinah; four-legged buddy, Gizmo; his son, Frank and wife Lisa, daughter, Rhonda and fiancé Dana, daughter, Adele and husband Jerry with granddaughters, Hailee and Anna Liegh, daughter, Brooke and husband Adam, daughter-in-law, Carole and grandsons, Caleb and Jacob, brother, Frank and wife Kathy, ex-wives, Elizabeth and Charlene, several nieces, and nephews. Tom was a loving and well-liked man who will be extremely missed by all who knew him.

Tom’s ashes will be spread at camp at a later date.

For now, we wish him a peaceful journey on his way home.
