Camden Garden Club will host its 73rd annual Garden Tour, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 15; rain or shine. Five of Camden’s most attractive and diverse gardens will be open for ticket holders to admire and enjoy. Historic barns and artifacts on two of the properties will also be included on the tour.

Local artist Cali Veilleux will set up her easel, paints and canvas in one of the featured gardens to create an original piece of art that will be raffled off at the end of the day. Veilleux’s paintings reflect her knowledge of the human form, her love of the natural world, and her passion for storytelling. Proceeds from the raffle benefit the Camden Garden Club Scholarship Program which was established in 1984. More than 130 scholarships to students majoring in horticulture related studies have been awarded since that date.
