NORRIDGEWOCK – Jean R. Worthley, 72, of Norridgewock, passed away June 26, 2021 with her five children and her husband by her side. Jean was married for 55 years to Carlton Worthley.

Through the years Jean worked at various occupations but raising five daughters was her primary job for the better part of her life.

Jean is survived by her children Karla and Dana Jordan of Madison, Dee Summers of Norridgewock, Karen and John Barnes of Chesterville, Kristy and Jason Hilton of Mercer and Lisa and Greg Clarke of Rumford.

Jean was also grandmother to Amanda, Hunter, Danielle, David, Jordan, Jess, Matt, Michael, Kassidee, Skyelar, Samantha, Daniel, Dylan and Nick.

She also had the pleasure of being great-grandmother to Erin, Brayden, Ethan, Ryker, Xavier and Lincoln, who all brought her so much happiness.

Jean was predeceased by her grandson, Daniel Worthley, this past September.

The family would like to give special thanks to Beacon Hospice. Tammy, Aaron, Avery, Kelly and Therese were invaluable. The family is grateful for each and every one of them and their kind, caring and professional assistance. They were godsends not only to Jean but for the entire family as well.

A private family service will be planned for a later date.
