
AUGUSTA — Four men were arrested on drug trafficking charges Tuesday in Augusta, according to city police.
The Augusta Police Department, Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search and arrest warrant at 54 Boothby St., according to a statement issued Wednesday by Augusta Deputy Chief Kevin Lully.
Police identified the four suspects as Patrick Burns, 59, of Augusta and Darrel Boyd, 27, Ritchard Laguer, 26, and Elmo Williams, 22, all of New York.
Each was charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, a class B offense.
The four suspects were being held Wednesday at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility in Augusta.
Bail was set at $35,000 for Burns and $30,000 for each of the New York men.
