AUBURNJoyce P. (Small) Sherman-Tardif, 72, a resident of Leeds, Maine, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.  She was born June 5, 1949, in Lewiston, to Lewis and Lila (Allen) Small.  Joy attended elementary school in Litchfield and graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1968.  She became a CNA, working at D’Youville and later worked at BIW for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband Paul Tardif, her son Adam Sherman, her granddaughter, Hannah, 3 sisters Roberta (Charles) Fittz, Elizabeth (Otis) Gray and Pamela (Chris) Schoonbeck.  She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, Kim, Jay, Robin and Heather, Ira, Angela, Tammy, and Stephanie and 16 great nephews and nieces.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joline Landry and her brothers-in-law, Ray and Bert Tardif, as well as dear friends, Bev Chase, Pauline Chase, Debbie Buckmore, and John and Laurie Racine.  Messages of condolence may be sent to: www.finleyfuneralhome.com
