SKOWHEGAN – Barbara A. Hunter, 89, died July 17, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home following an illness. She was born April 13, 1932 in Larone, the daughter of H. Arnold and Sadie S. (Hunter) Larsen.
She was educated in the schools of Fairfield and graduated from Lawrence High School in June 1952. She married Raymond Hunter Jr. on Oct. 4, 1952 in Fairfield. Barbara was an active member of the Skowhegan Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed gardening, word searches and jigsaw puzzles.
Barbara is survived by sons, Richard of Skowhegan, Ronald of Skowhegan, Brian of West Virginia; brother, Gerald Larsen of Skowhegan; two sisters, Audrey of Waterville, Sandra of Larone. She was predeceased by son, Jeffrey; two brothers, Richard and Wilton Larsen.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation hours of funeral service.
