Linda S. Landry

MADISON – Linda S. Landry, 74, of Madison, passed away on July 17, 2021, with her husband and sons by her side. Linda was born in Skowhegan to Ernest “Joe” and Lorena (Leblanc) Demo on June 1, 1947. Linda grew up in Skowhegan and graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1965 where she met her loving husband, Stephen Craig Landry. The two were married on June 18, 1967. They lived in Madison with their 3 sons: Craig, Michael, and Christopher. Linda worked at Ken-a-Set Skills, Inc as a developmental teacher for 27 years, retiring in 2006. She spent her life taking care of and looking after her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time at camp with her family enjoying all of life’s adventures, and she had a growing passion for gardening. She is predeceased by both parents and her sister, Joyce (Demo) Shaw. Linda is survived by her husband, Stephen Craig Landry; three sons, Craig A. Landry of Madison, Michael J. Landry and wife Kim of Madison, and Christopher R. Landry and wife Heidi of Sidney; 6 grandchildren, Logan, Gage, Hannah, Sophie, Jenna, and Rylee; 5 great grandchildren, all of whom she adored and they adored her; her extended family, daughter Kim Audet and husband Zach of Norridgewock and son, David Girard and wife Carol of North Waterboro, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am, Friday, July 23 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 161 Main Street, Madison with Rev. Fr. James Nadeau, celebrant. Interment will be private at a later date. The family would like to express the utmost gratitude for the hospital team at Redington-Fairview for taking such good care of her in her final days where she was able to be with all of her loved ones during her final hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home.
