ANSON – Clyde M. Browne, 85, of Anson, passed away at his home on July 20, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born on Oct. 13, 1935 in Industry, Maine , a son of Malcolm and Helen (Kennedy) Browne.

Clyde lived most of his life in Anson, along with his wife Francis, they owned and operated Baker Store, later he he owned and operated his excavation company.

He was predeceased by his parents; by his loving wife of 60 years, Frances E. Browne, by his brothers, Douglas and Lauriston as well as his sister, Maxine.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Jordan and her husband John of Skowhegan; his grandson, Ben Jordan Jr. and his wife Jeannet of Lewisville, Texas. He is also survived by his brothers, Francis, Donald and Gene; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 9 a.m. in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Fr. Rasle Road in Madison.
