PLEASANT RIDGE PLANTATION — Pine Grove Programs plans to offer a limited number of free three-day Fall Black Bear Hunts over bait for the 2021 Maine Black Bear Hunting season to active duty service members, veterans, first responders, Gold Star Family members, and law enforcement officers.
Hunt dates include Aug. 29-Sept. 2, Sept. 2-5, Sept. 5-9, Sept. 8-12, Sept. 12-16, Sept. 15-19, Sept. 19-23 and Sept. 22-26.
Names will be drawn, and all who enter the drawing will be notified of the winners.
Pine Grove Programs is a non-profit organization that provides free outdoor experiences to military service members, veterans, Gold Star families, and responders of man-made and natural disaster. It offers group events and private trips in order to utilize the naturally therapeutic benefits of the wilderness.
