Patricia Mary Eugley Sevigny

AUGUSTA – Patricia Mary Eugley Sevigny, 75, died June 15, 2021, at her Augusta home, following a long battle with Cancer. Patricia was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, the oldest daughter, the crazy sister, the funny aunt and everyone’s friend. Everyone that spent time with Patricia will remember her smile, the way she loved to dance, playing cards, acting like and playing with the kids. Patricia loved her family, her convertibles and going to the casinos.Patricia was born on Nov. 14, 1945 in Augusta, to Freeman and Mary Eugley. She graduated from Cony High School in 1965. Patricia worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone and then went on to work for the Augusta General Hospital/ Maine General as an operator.Patricia is predeceased by her loving husband, Dale; her parents Mary E. Eugley, Freeman A. Eugley and wife Roberta; sister, Pauline Dumas and brothers Jerry and John Eugley; also a very special brother-in-law, Wally Hall; all grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.Patricia is survived by sons William “Bill” and his wife Josee Dumas, and Albert Dumas; stepchildren Steve Dumas and partner Wyatt, Randy and wife Trixi Dumas, Jeff Dumas and partner Cheryl, Scott Sevigny, Staci and husband Peter Fortunato, Shelly Wilson; grandchildren Ashley Dumas, Abby Dumas, Luke Wilson and Isaak Wilson, Andrew Fortunato, Daniel Fortunato, Jordan Sevigny and Tony Sevigny; great-grandchildren Alyson Glidden and Jared Gray. Patricia is survived by her sisters Priscilla and husband Jon Paul Thorpe, June and husband Francis Carr, Jane Dumas, Jill Eugley and brother-in-law Roger Dumas, sister-in-law Gail Hall; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia had a huge heart and was a friend to so many people that they all became family. There will be a graveside burial at the VA Cemetery at 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta on Friday, August 20 at 10 a.m. Friends and family are welcome back to Patricia’s house on 281 Ward Rd., Augusta to share our memories.
