“Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the Gazebo will host Christine Poulson and the Social Club from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at the gazebo in Turner.
Poulson, a talented musician, singer, and music promoter, will lead her retinue in a rousing evening of musical joy. She also has hosted Sunday evening open mics for years at The Wharf in Hollowell as well as at The Hurricane Restaurant in Readfield and in Winthrop. Now she has created a summer series on the green in Belgrade Lakes. A magical hostess and musician, she brings together a variety of talented musicians with always a unique blending, woven into a fun-filled evening.
The show will go on rain or shine. The gazebo is located at 98 Mathews Way, off Route 117, in Turner Center. We pass the hat to pay the musicians. Suggested donation $10. For more information, call (207) 754-0954.
