A dedication ceremony for the moving of the Pittston WWII Monument from private land to the Riverside Cemetery Annex, 346 Wiscasset Road, Pittston.
The American Legion Kennebec Valley Honor Guard will be in charge of the ceremonies which will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28; rain or shine. Two side wings have been added to the monument that will be used to add names of other wars and all veterans who lived in Pittston for two years or more.
