I have served two terms on the Augusta City Council with Marci Alexander. I have known Marci much longer, as for several years we both worked in the attorney general’s office, where Marci served as director of the Medicaid Fraud Unit. From these experiences I know Marci is very smart and hard working.
I admire Marci’s ability to hone in on the issue and identify a practical solution. On the council, Marci has been a strong supporter of law enforcement working to increase wages and to build a new station. When councilors were divided on the location, Marci was instrumental in building consensus and getting agreement and support for the chosen site.
Marci has shown that she can lead and that she is dedicated to making Augusta a great place to work, live, and play. Please join me and vote for Marci Alexander for mayor to keep Augusta moving forward.
