Denise “Dee” Beaudoin

BAR HARBOR – Denise “Dee” Beaudoin, 67, died on Sept. 12, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Dee was born in Waterville on Aug. 2, 1954, to parents Henry and Elizabeth (Drinkwine) Berthiaume.Dee was a beloved member of the Island’s community. Most recently she worked at the Blue Nose Inn in the Great Room. She was a passionate fan of the Patriots and a lover of animals, especially her dogs. Dee loved to dance and sing off key, her favorites included Bruno Mars and Bob Marley. She found a passion for Reggae music while vacationing in Jamaica. She traveled there to enjoy the beach, but if she was unable to make the trip, she would visit the annual Reggae Fest in Sugarloaf. However, her favorite beach will forever be at Seal Harbor where she felt the most at peace. Dee will be greatly missed by all those who love her. Denise is survived by her sons, Dale Beaudoin, and Corey LaPlante. Daughter Meca LaPlante- Richards. Sister Debbie Berthiaume and her husband Michael Wilson. Brother Richard and his wife Laura Berthiaume. Ex-husband and close friend Phil Beaudoin and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Zach, Nova, Lisa, Lynn, Pat, Lennie, Judy, Bill, and Mary for being amazing friends to Dee.
