Harley L. Wyman III

SKOWHEGAN – Harley L. Wyman III, 35, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 21, 2021 at his home in Skowhegan.

He was born April 24, 1986, the son of Harley “Rocky” Wyman II and Pamela (Wyman) Locke.

In 1993, he, his mother and brother moved to Skowhegan, where he went to school and made his home. Harley, at a young age was known as “DJ”, as he grew up many of his friends still called him that. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, kayaking, fires outback and being with family. He would always greet you with a hug and leave with “I Love You”.

His zest for telling stories, quoting movies and making people laugh is unmatched. His employment consisted of many–a-trades as he tried to find his niche in life.

He married the love of his life, Natasha (Carrier) Wyman on Oct. 14, 2017, after many years together.

He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Natasha Wyman of Skowhegan; his parents Harley “Rocky” Wyman and his wife Trisha of Moscow, and Pamela Locke and her fiancé Randal Holt of Skowhegan. He leaves his brothers Alexander E. Wyman and his wife Crystal of Oxford, N.J., and Brandon E. Locke of Skowhegan. He is also survived by his former stepfather, Keldon E. Locke Jr. of Skowhegan; his mother and father-in-law Richard and Nicole Carrier of Skowhegan. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Foster, Wyman, Locke and Carrier families.

He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents of Moscow; and a very special uncle, Allen Locke of Skowhegan.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Maine Medical Center, without you we wouldn’t have had this very special year with Harley.

A celebration of Harley’s life will be held later.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan.

“Life is for the living – Harley”

Remembrance gifts may be given to the American Heart Association or to the Somerset Animal Shelter in Harley’s name.
