AUGUSTA – Crystal K. Paulette passed away Sept. 28, 2021, at the age of 68 in Augusta. She was born March 24, 1953, in Oakland to WIlliam and Beverly King. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 50 years, Vaughn Paulette of Sidney, her only son, Anthony Paulette and his wife Kaitlyn and their son, Anthony, her honey boy of Fairfield. She is survived by her sister, Linda Stevens and preceded by her brother, Dale King. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, besties, “sistas”, second moms and all the friends that were like family to her and that she loved so much.Crystal grew up in Oakland and graduated from Messalonskee High School. Not long after, she married Vaughn and started working. Crystal eventually worked the bulk of her career at Hannaford Brothers in Gardiner and Micheal’s Crafts. Crystal loved watching the Celtics, going out to eat with friends, to the beach, being out in the sun in her convertible, sleepovers with her grandson but most of all she was happiest wherever she was with family and friends. Crystal’s love and larger than life personality spilled over into everything she did. She always had so many who loved her and will always love and miss her. A private celebration of life will be held for family and friends in the weeks to follow.
