HARTLAND – Russell K. Dickey, 59, died Sept. 30, 2021, at a Bangor hospital from Covid. He was born in Dexter, May 30, 1962, a son of Betty Lou (Winchester) Dickey. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School and served as an EMT with G and H Ambulance Service in Hudson. He also served as an EMT and firefighter with the Hartland Fire Department since 1992 being the second longest serving there. He was dependable and put his heart into his work. When the 911 call came in he was ready to serve. Rusty was well loved by his fellow firefighters.He is survived by three sisters and husbands, Janet and Charles Bailey, Laurie and Brian Folsom, Madelyn and Richard Boardman, all of Dexter; two nieces; three grandnieces and one grandnephew.A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Graveside committal services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, with the Rev. Ricky Parker officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby and Neal, Newport.
