Celebration Barn Theater plans to celebrate this season’s Saturday Show Series finale with Mike Miclon’s The Early Evening Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at its 190 Stock Farm Road location in South Paris.
The Early Evening Show, a spoof of late-night talk shows, has been performed from New England to Switzerland. Twenty two years and over 200 performances have made it the longest-running live variety show in Maine history.
The Oct. 16 cast includes many notable special guests. Award-winning international touring artist Amanda Huotari will perform in her final on-stage appearance as Celebration Barn’s executive artistic director. Other guests include slapstick comedian Tom Murphy, juggling master Shane Miclon, and the Early Evening Show Orchestra with Oren Robinson, April Reed-Cox and Jed Allen.
Limited tickets cost $18 for adults, $16 for seniors (60-plus), and $8 for children. Tickets are general admission.
Attendees must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination upon arrival and wear a face covering while seated. Attendees younger than 12 who are not yet eligible for vaccination are only required to wear a mask. Attendance in the theater will be limited to help ensure physical distancing while seated. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.
