For me and many in the Augusta community, the choice is clear: Mark O’Brien should be the next mayor of our state capital. Mark leads with decades of selfless service to his constituents and community members. He is humble, fair, kind and passionate. Not to mention, the best dad a girl could ask for.

His quiet leadership is not to be confused with weakness. In fact, he will stand up for justice and honor his duty to serve with complete dedication. One of the most powerful characteristics of Mark as a leader (and something that is not seen much in office) is his ability to hear and see both sides of an issue. He does thorough research, often staying up late at night to gather facts and information for meetings and votes. Growing up, the kitchen was often littered with notes while he was deciding his stance on an issue. Again, his dedication to the issues is unmatched.

Mark wants the best for the city. He wants what’s best for the people who live, work and play here. He wants what’s best for the children who are being raised here. He wants Augusta to be the best city in the state, hands down. He is the mayor Augusta needs to get the job done.

He is more than ready for the challenge and excited to make some changes right away. Augusta can count on him. After all, Mark is from Augusta and for Augusta. Join me in supporting Mark O’Brien this fall.
