Marci Alexander for mayor of Augusta is the right choice for change and not the status quo! Augusta has made so many positive strides in the past few years, and we need someone who can continue to actively keep this momentum going.
As a former state representative in Augusta, City employee for 26 years and a city councilor, I know what a good leader requires. Some of these changes include her legal expertise on my city ordinance to clean up dilapidated properties and to protect the value of your property. A recent example is the removal of a dangerous dilapidated building on South Grove Street.
Marci also was forward thinking in the establishment of the Historic District on the West Side of Augusta. She also supported, as I had in the past, the two-way traffic for downtown. She started the North end/Sand Hill redevelopment project. This is what we need for Augusta, always forward thinking and always fiscally responsible and looking out for you and your tax dollars.
With all this energy, experience and vision for Augusta, we need Marci Alexander as our next mayor. No more status quo!
Please vote Marci for mayor on Election Day, for a new era, a new leader and a great person for the future of Augusta.
