LEXINGTON – Lottie May Howes, 87, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at Redington Fairveiw General Hospital.

Lottie was born on Nov. 13, 1933 in Highland, Maine, the daughter of Lauriston Earlin Howes and Deborah Dyer Howes. She lived most of her life in the Highland, Lexington area and graduated from Anson Academy in the class of 1954.

She held various jobs throughout her life and retired from Madison Paper Mill at the age of 62.

She was predeceased by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Susan; one niece, Wendy Mclean Williams. She is survived by two sons, Stuart W Church and his wife Austina of Iowa and Stephen M Church of Lexington, who lovingly took care of her for the last several years. She is survived by her sister Marilyn R Pinkham of Lexington, Laurie E Mclean and her husband Eldon of North Anson, and sister Jean of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends.

At Lotties request there will be no visiting hours or services. In the spring the family will hold a private service.
