TAMPA, Fla. – Kristie L. Mathews, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 8, 2021. Kristie was born Aug. 28, 1971 in Augusta, Maine. She was the daughter of Hugh and Pamela (Ellis) Mathews. Kristie received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Leo College in Florida. She owned her own accounting and advisor firm. She was a member of several organizations in the Tampa area.Kristie is survived by her parents; sisters, Lori (Mathews) Robinson and partner Donald Brochu and Lisa Mathews; nieces, Kyra (Robinson) and husband Kevin Scott, Brooke Brochu and husband Sabearien Harvey, Briana Brochu and boyfriend David Morrison; nephew, Kolton Brochu; a new grandnephew, Everett Walter Scott, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves her very much loved fur babies, Jazzy, Jett and Jax.A Celebration of Life will be planned for next summer in Maine.Any memorial gifts can be donated to an Animal Shelter or rescue of your choice.
