It is not very often that we get a candidate running for election that is as open-minded, fair, with the strong leadership qualities and experience that Mark O’Brien has.
Mark has served on numerous committees and boards through the years, to improve the quality of life for all Augusta residents. Mark was instrumental in developing the CARA complex into one of the top recreational facilities in Maine, serving on their board of directors, most recently as president. He has served on the Augusta School Board rising to the level of chair and has also served on Augusta City Council.
In all of Mark’s years of service, he has used his experience, knowledge of the issues, compassion and work ethic to make a better life for all of Maine’s state capital residents.
This is why I am proud to throw my support behind Mark O’Brien for mayor of Augusta.
This is shaping up to be a great race as we have two formidable candidates competing for the same seat.
