The Manchester Lions Club recently hosted the 2020/21 Spirit of America Foundation awards event.
Honorees included:
• Kaleb Pushard for his involvement in Manchester’s annual tree lighting and light displays;
• Carol Dudley for her work with the North Manchester Meeting House Association and the Manchester Historical Society;
• Shelia Knowles, an active member of the Manchester Lions Club and her church who volunteers weekly at the food bank; and
• Don Sweeney, Manchester Community Church moderator as well as developer and primary builder of the new church community room addition. He also provides special music and sings in the choir.
Lion Dave Worthing, state vice president of Spirit of America, emceed the event.
