Sheldon W. Worster

SKOWHEGAN – Sheldon W. Worster, 69, passed away Oct. 24, 2021 at his home in Skowhegan. He was born Sept. 13, 1952 in Skowhegan, the son of Guy and Salma (Spooner) Worster.

He was a member of the Labor’s Union for 32 years, Eagles, American Legion, and the Thursday Night Gang (the town meeting). He enjoyed motorcycling, camping, playing horseshoes, corn hole, pool, outside activities and gatherings with friends and family. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1972 until his honorable discharge in 1974.

Sheldon is survived by fiancée Elaine Carll of Skowhegan; daughter, Shelley Corson and husband Mike of Madison; grandson, Alex Corson of Madison; sister, Carolyn Willey and husband Bob of East Machias, brothers Rod Worster and wife Renee of Skowhegan, Randy Worster and partner Denise Roberts of Florida; mother, Selma Grant of East Machais; beloved friend, Marjorie Clukey of Skowhegan; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Guy Worster; and son, Ryan Worster.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Nov. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Skowhegan. Interment will be held in the spring of 2022 at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Sheldon’s memory to any charity of choice or to Shelley L.Corson on the behalf of Sheldon’s estate.
