My letter isn’t to express a opinion on how you should vote on Question 1. However I would like to remind everyone we import almost everything we buy and use here in Maine.
We’re a state with few resources. We as a people aren’t being abused by contributing to our nation. Whether it’s water, lumber or electricity, we need to shake the mentality here in Maine that somehow we’re be taken advantage of. Vote your conscience as for what’s right for Maine.
I’m asking you not to oppose Question 1 because you think Maine is getting nothing in return. We would starve, freeze and have no transportation in Maine if all your American citizens felt that way about you.
