Beverly J. Sincyr

SKOWHEGAN – Beverly Jean Sincyr passed away peacefully at her home on Oct. 13, 2021. She was the beloved wife of David A. Sincyr Jr., with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage.

Beverly was born Jan. 2, 1962, in Farmington to the late Edward Alfred Hand and Lillian G. (Smith) Hand. Beverly graduated from Skowhegan Area High School and then worked for New Balance Athletic Shoe in Norridgewock for 30 years. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic propelled her to a team lead role within the company. Beverly had a strong passion for gardening, arts, crafts, and interior design. More than anything, Beverly enjoyed spending quality time with her six grandchildren, Adrian, Karissa, DJ, Ava, Corrine, and Alexis.

Beverly is survived by her husband, David Sincyr Jr., of Skowhegan; her son Derrick Sincyr, her daughter Danielle Sincyr and son David Sincyr III; as well as her sisters Veronica Tilton, Patricia Quirrion, Juanita Hand Allen. She is also survived by her brothers Larry Hand, Robert Hand, and Edward “Bud” Hand.

She is now resting peacefully with her sister, Judith Hand and brother, Roger Hand.

She will be missed dearly by many beloved friends and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
