Michael Andreas Turner

SKOWHEGAN – Michael Andreas Turner, 66, passed away Oct. 24, 2021 in Skowhegan. He was born Dec. 31, 1954 in Skowhegan, the son of Glenwood A. and Henriette (Debertin) Turner.

He attended schools in Skowhegan and earned his GED in 1973. He was a veteran who served his country in the US Army until his honorable discharge. He was self employed for more than 30 years selling propane and accessories with delivery in the Upper Kennebec Valley. A job/career that he loved. He had a life-long love of riding motorcycles and enjoyed kayaking, frisbie golf, singing at open-mic nights throughout the state of Maine, especially Sunday nights at Bloomfields in Skowhegan where he could always be found on Sunday nights.

Michael is survived by brothers, Jerry Turner and wife Diane of North Carolina, David Turner and wife Debra of Maine; sister, Christina Forshey and husband Tommy of Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Denise and husband Brad of Maine; nieces, Tiffany and husband Jack of North Carolina, Courtney and husband Christian of Florida; nephews, Terry and wife Jessica of Oregon, Andy of Pennsylvania, Jakob of Anson, Gabriel Turner and wife Amalie of North Carolina, Dustin of Maine; great nieces and nephews, Ramona of North Carolina, Harrison of Oregon, Cameron of Pennsylvania; step grandson, Tyler of Maine; step-granddaughters, Ticy and Telena of Maine; special friends, Annie of Maine, Robert Washburn of Maine. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Stephen Turner.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm with a musical tribute beginning at 5:00 pm at Bloomfields in Skowhegan.

A memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 19 Washburn Lane, Skowhegan with Robert Washburn officiating.
