Pamela J. Austin

VIENNA – Pamela J. Austin, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Oct. 19, 2021. She is the loving wife of Rocky M. Austin with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Pam was born March 21,1957 in Rivera, Calif. She is the daughter of the late Donald A. and Shirley Ann (Haggard) Pratt. She resided in Vienna for many years.

Pam worked at International Paper for many years. She previously worked at Saunders, New Balance and took care of children for many years as well as working at Fire House Bakery.

Pam adored and cherished her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed brook trout fishing, listening to Van Morrison, playing slot machines at the casino and spending time at Reid State Park. She also had a fondness of her Indian heritage the Cherokee’s.

In addition to her loving husband Rocky, Pam is survived by her children Jesse Austin and his wife Stephanie of New Sharon, Jill Moore and her husband Scott of Anson and Lisa Austin and her significant other Dan Gleason of Waterville; her grandmother Bea Gilmore of Rockland; her sisters Connie Leach and her husband Robert of Mt. Vernon and Sue Noiles and her husband Lyn of Waterville. She is also survived by her two cherished and loved grandchildren Carley and Levi Austin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In honoring with Pamela’s wishes there will be a Celebration of her life at a date and time to be announced.
