ANSON – Stephen B. Bell, 75, of Anson, went home to meet His Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021.

Our father was born on Dec. 7, 1945 in Fall River, Mass. He was the only son of Elton Norman Bell and Rose (Mackie) Bell. Along with his sister, Suzanne (Bell) Desrochers, he was raised in Somerset, Mass. His childhood years were filled with family and adventures. Summers of surfing, flounder fishing, crabbing, and pranks at Cadmen’s Neck. His competitiveness revealed his rebel side when racing boats in the cove, drag racing at Horseneck Beach and riding his Harley.

In the early 1970’s, as a young man, He came to Maine to establish his roots. He built his foundation on Faith, as a faithful humble servant of God, with an unwavering devotion to Jesus. Dad is the Patriarch of our family. The greatest man we have ever known. As a husband and our father, he freely gave unconditional love, demonstrated forgiveness, and showed us compassion for others.

We, his wife, five children and spouses, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, His Clan, will live on as his legacy, the foundation He built.

Come honor our father “Steve style”, at our church, Christ Community Fellowship, 43 Maple Street, Madison, Maine on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at 1 p.m.
