The Augusta Symphony Orchestra is back!

After a COVID shutdown over the past several months, the ASO is performing a concert on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. at the South Parish Congregational Church, 9 Church St., Augusta.

We have a new conductor, Jin Park, a music professor at Colby College; he is a must see. The program is the “Egmont Overture,” by Beethoven, Mozart’s “3rd Violin Concerto,” and Beethoven’s “2nd Symphony.”

Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted. Remember, the clocks push back one hour on that day and we strongly recommend wearing masks and social distancing.

Whether you’re a classical music fan or thinking about seeing and hearing a symphony orchestra for the first time, we welcome you to join us.
