Dawson Matthew Price

MADISON – Dawson Matthew Price passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 27, 2021. Dawson was born on Feb. 19, 1999, the son of Stephen Price and Melody Price.

Dawson graduated from Madison Area Memorial High School in 2018. He worked for Qualtek as a cell phone tower technician, working and traveling all over Maine and New England, witness to amazing views from high above.

Dawson was a smart, sweet, hard-working, talented, caring and loving young man. He gave the best hugs and if you ever got to witness his beautiful smile you knew you were seeing something special. Dawson was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his time on the Kennebec River on his boat. He was an amazing cook and a fast master on the barbecue grill. He had a soft spot for animals and underdogs and wore his heart on his sleeve. Dawson loved his family and friends, sitting by a fire, his Harley-Davidson and the New England Patriots.

Dawson is survived, and will be forever missed, by his dad, Stephen Price of Anson and his special friend, Jean Perron, his mom, Melody Price and her partner, Anson Jackson of Madison; his brother, Dylan Price and fiance Kristi Willey of Charlotte, N.C.; grandparents Maryse Roy and Earl Beaulieu of Madison; his aunts Paula, Katy and Stacie, uncles Matt and Chuck; and many cousins; and his beloved cat, Maverick.

He is reunited in heaven with his grandmother, Debbie Bruneau, his grandfather, Bill Price; and his special dog, Neo.

A celebration of Dawson’s precious life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Madison on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a bonfire and fireworks to follow.
