Reagan Lee Gurney

NEW ORLEANS, La. – It is with a broken heart my son Reagan left this world due to a hit and run accident in New Orleans on Oct. 8, 2021. He was born April 29, 1980.

If there was one thing Reagan would want people to know about him it would be that he marched to the beat of his own drum, he loved with all of his heart and will miss all of you as you will all miss him.

Reagan is survived by his mother and stepfather Barbara and Todd McGraw; his sister Angelina Parise, her husband Sheldon, and Reagan’s niece and nephew, Jordyn and Elijah Parise. Reagan is also survived by his sister Jessica O’Clair and his nephews Paxton and Felix; his sister Ashley Krause also survives him along with her husband Trevor, and niece and nephew, Walker and Ruby. He’s survived by his uncles Robert Gatto and Erich Ammarell as well as his aunt Artelissa Bisson, along with many cousins, all of whom he loves spending time with.

Reagan had a strong connection to his Philadelphia family and is survived here by Nichole Owens and her children Aydan and Malachi whom he loved as his own. Reagans New Orleans family also survives him, including Willie Mae’s, The Holy Ground, Desiree, Tosha, Kerry, Jen, John, and Miss Earma just to name a few. Reagan is also survived by his childhood friends Derek Tardiff and Rebecca Bolduc; two bonds that would never be broken no matter the time nor distance.

There will be a celebration of life on Nov. 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Oakland, Maine followed by a gathering at the Oakland Legion where we will share stories and precious memories of Reagan.
