Cheryl A. (Patnaude) Richardson

CANAAN – Cheryl A. (Patnaude) Richardson, 53, passed away Nov. 18, 2021, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor due to complications from Covid-19. She was born July 13, 1968, in Waterville, the daughter of John R. and Nancy L. (LaRochelle) Patnaude.She attended schools in Winslow and graduated from Winslow High School in 1986.Cheryl enjoyed cheering on the Winslow Raiders with her dad, John. She was a huge Patriots and Red Soxs fan and loved her favorite television shows. Cheryl worked in the Canaan Superette for several years and later helped run their construction business Central Maine Builders. In 1987, she married the love of her life David A Richardson. Cheryl enjoyed to be outdoors and was often found in her gardens where she grew enough vegetables to feed family and friends. Cheryl loved 4-wheeling and especially attending the mud runs with her mudtruck “Black Widow” at Get Er Done Raceway with her family and friends. A sport she enjoyed doing with her husband. Cheryl and Dave were a great team. Many times coming home with multiple trophies. She loved taking rides to the coast, baking for people and cooking different meals. She always looked forward to their annual family parties as she put a lot of hard work and planning into them. She loved her “fur babies” dearly. Cheryl was very passionate about her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Everyone that knew Cheryl knew she would not be a door mat for anyone, but she had the biggest heart. She always made it known to her family and friends how much they meant to her and how much she loved them.Cheryl is survived by her husband of 34 years, David A. Richardson of Canaan; daughter, Jacinth and husband Zach Allard and Grandsons Mason and Jasper. Parents John and Nancy Patnaude; Siblings John and Karmen; David and Barbara; Cathy and Joseph Maroney. Brother in law Steve Richardson and Companion. Cheryl has many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles & friends who she cherished beyond words. Cheryl was very close to her aunts; Tootsie and Toni. Cheryl had a special bond with her Cousin Darlene and Darlene’s daughter Danika. Often found together and during Holidays making candies for family and friends. Cheryl was a true and honest friend. She leaves behind her close circle of friends Roland and Blanche Ellis; Moe and Christine Batchelder, her Mudrun Family, Gene and the crew at Lakeview Lumber. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Patnaude and a nephew Lawrence Richardson.A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday Dec. 5, at 1 p.m., at the Snowmobile club off Mutton Lane, 35 Club House Road, Clinton. It is a Pot Luck, so please bring a dish to share.
