Patricia “Patti” A. York

SKOWHEGAN – Patricia “Patti” A. York, 58, of Skowhegan, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side on Nov. 21, 2021. Patti was born March 17, 1963 in Brockton, Mass., the daughter of the late James and Viola (Scribner) York.

Patti attended Skowhegan Area High School and graduated in 1981. She then went on to work at SAS in Pittsfield. She also worked at Canaan Superette and made wreathes for Central Maine Wreaths. Her last job was at Walmart.

Patti was a friend to all who knew her. She loved having a good time with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Patriots and Red Sox.

Patti is survived by her long-time partner, Scott Trafton; his parents Les and Sharon Trafton; three sons, Joshua Foster and partner Rachel Guilford and children Emma, Augie, Charlee Mae and Loryn; James York and daughter, Piper; Jeremy York and wife Chelsea and children Zoey, Emma and Finn; two brothers, Patrick York and wife Teresa, Brian York and wife Belinda; stepbrother and sister, Keith and Valerie Corson; several nephews and nieces; uncle, Richard York and aunt, Mary, uncle, Fred Huff; many cousins; special friends Jimmy and Sherry, Bill and Cindy Laney, Bruce Santoro and Elton Spoffard.

She was predeceased by her parents James and Viola York; three brothers, Michael, Allen and Mark; and grandparents Vernald and Rose York.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Dec. 5 at 12 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, Oak Pond Road in Skowhegan.

Arrangements under the direction and care of Dan and Scott’s Cremation and Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Rd., Skowhegan ME 04976.
