If you love ice cream, even in a snowstorm, a fresh sundae is still possible.
That’s because local ice cream chain Fielder’s Choice has started staying open past the summer season, with new winter hours.
The shops, which include a location in Manchester off Route 202, will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and open Sundays and Thursdays, noon to 8 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays noon to 8:30 p.m.
Due to changes in schedules and other logistical reasons, shop staff said there will be some changes to the menu. They will only have vanilla and chocolate soft serve but all their normal hard serve choices will be available.
Another change is the walk-up window has been eliminated and will only be available for drive-thru service.
They will still be a cash-only operation, but provide an ATM out front for those who forget.
