Why has not this disturbing news also been printed for your readers in the Kennebec Journal? Not all your readers subscribe to the Maine Sunday Telegram. Your Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel readers need to have such important disturbing news made available to all readers of newspapers controlled by your newspaper syndicate.

This question is especially relevant in these troubling times. The news industry has a moral obligation to inform readers of information having an effect on our present and future society.

Your Oct. 21 editorial reminding readers of Senator King’s warning, “Sen. King warns of democracy in grave danger,” indeed does serve as a warning to remain vigilant and more involved citizens.
