Corinne Beverly (Thomas) Dudley

SKOWHEGAN – Corinne Beverly (Thomas) Dudley, 91, passed away Dec. 1, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Center in Skowhegan. She was born March 18, 1930, in Oakland, the daughter of Erlan S. and Minnie E (Perkins) Thomas.

She graduated from Oakland High School in 1949. On Sept. 2, 1950, she married William Dudley in Belgrade. Together they raised seven children at the small family farm in Rome. She was employed for many years at Norrwock Shoe and Dexter Shoe. Corinne enjoyed traveling, playing cards and shopping with her friends and family.

Corinne is survived by daughters, Beverly Gray and partner Greg Hanley of Pittston, Audrey Luce and husband Randy of Coventry, Conn., Sally Rogers and husband Jeff of Madison, Joanne Watson and husband Rusty of Mercer, Maryellen Charles and husband Raymond of Mercer, Nicky Witham and husband Rodney of Fairfield; son, Benjamin Dudley and wife Valerie of Norridgewock; brothers, Maurice Thomas and wife Pat of Mercer, Lowell Thomas and wife Pat of Mercer; sister-in-law, Mary Thomas of Mercer; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, with another expected in January. She was predeceased by her husband William; and siblings, Phyllis Warren, Arthur Thomas and Neil Thomas.

A special thank you to Cedar Ridge Center for taking care of Corinne for the past three years when her family could no longer manage her care.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
