Hank graduated from Madison High School in 1959 and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. His lifelong dream was to have his own dairy farm. In 1976, he and Shirley purchased the Merry Farm in Anson, now Mello Acre Farms, adjoining the farm he grew up on. Hank, Shirley, Stanley, Henry Jr., Scott and Amanda toiled for many a decade to create Hank’s vision for his dairy farm and through these efforts, Hank embodied an unmatched work ethic and dedication to his mission, his family, agriculture and his much-loved cows. Hank/Father/Dad/Pup/Puppy/Farmer Hankie will be deeply missed. A private celebration of Hanks’s life will be held in the future.
