The sudden, unexpected death of Pete Bolduc has stunned and saddened so many of us (“Winslow High grieves following death of coach who was ‘big, positive presence,'” Dec. 7).
Growing up, Pete and I were inseparable and voted “Class Pals” in our senior yearbook. Like he did for so many others, Pete looked out for me. He always defended me while never judging me; a trait rarely seen in others, especially these days. Pete was a very loving person with a great sense of humor.
As life happens, we drifted apart but every time we ran into each other it was just like old times. I miss you, Pete.
