Jeremiah Jacob Trask Hutchison

FALMOUTH – “In love he predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 1:5 Jeremiah (Aug. 12, 1976 – Dec. 10, 2021) was born into his first family as the youngest. While still a baby he had the Mustard Procedure on his heart, although it did not work as expected, his body found a way to make it work. Marc and Cyndi answered a leading from the Lord to adopt and from our first glimpse at his photo, we knew he was to become part of our family. He was adopted into the Hutchison family as a big brother in January 1989. As a boy he enjoyed an active life swimming, bike riding, doing archery, and competing in Special Olympics. With computers he developed a lifelong interest in genealogy. He was our walking encyclopedia of important dates for everyone he met. He would patiently correct us when we got a date wrong. Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Marc and Cyndi Hutchison, brother Jed and his wife Alyssa and their children Prelude and Atlas, sister Sadie Anderson and her husband Jonathan and their children Evie and Truman. His grandmother Dolores Hutchison. Aunts and Uncles: Bonny and Dave Houston, Roger Hutchison, Cheryl and Frank Fiore, Charlie Dyer and Kitty Barbee. Cousins: Vanessa and Jason Howard, Chris Houston, Charles Dyer, Nicole Dyer, Sean Hutchison and Kristen Hutchison. Jeremiah’s birth sister Cyndi Thayre and her children Mitchell, Korrie, Joel, and Mark. Other Trask family members and friends include Mark Brock, Samantha Trask and many other extended family members. We are blessed to have Pauline Gendron, Program Manager (Creative Work Systems) be part of our lives for the past 18 years. Her support went far beyond her job description, and she stayed with us even when Jeremiah was, shall we say, less than cooperative!Jeremiah was predeceased earlier this year by his cousin, Mark Porter. Please join us for an online streamed memorial service which will be broadcast on the Veilleux and Redington Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 3 p.m., on Sunday Jan. 9. Jeremiah‘s favorite color was red. We will be wearing red for his service. We have tears in our eyes but smiles on our faces as we think of Jeremiah and how much fuller he made the lives of everyone who loved him.
