AUGUSTA – Doris Marie Belanger, 75, suffered a stroke at home on Dec. 30, 2021 and passed away at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta with her family by her side. She was born on May 4, 1946, the daughter of Rosario and Lucienne (Pare) Beaulieu.

Doris, known to many as “Dot” grew up in Augusta and attended St. Augustine School and Cony High School.

Dot loved to cook, and that passion and creativity led her to try her hand at making cakes. One way she expressed her love for family and friends was by gracing many weddings and anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions with her amazing creations. She took much joy in sharing her talent with those she loved.Dot’s favorite place was at the camp having her morning coffee on the deck, tending to her flowers, and going for pontoon boat rides on Androscoggin Lake.

She loved family gatherings at the camp especially having the brothers and sisters over for a lobster feed and at times having a sleep over.

Dot was kindhearted and generous, she touched the lives of many people, her family, co-workers, friends, and those in need. She will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother Gerard “Butch” Beaulieu, brother-in-law Larry Sirois and Ron Roussel.
