Lisa Jean Mcfee

LITCHFIELD – Lisa Jean Mcfee, 48, of Litchfield, Maine started her new journey on Dec. 31, 2021. Her son Connor was by her side when she left. Lisa led a full and exuberant life. She worked for the State of Maine as the Business Systems QA Manager for Maine Revenue for many years. She adored her son Connor. She loved the ocean, her family, her many friends, her little dog Boone and her Jeep.

Lisa was a bright light in so many people’s lives. Her beloved ocean was always calling her. Every day was a good beach day. She spent many happy, boisterous times camping with her friends at the Birches campground, the ocean, and up north. She was the campfire Queen. Her humor and quick wit were well known and sprinkled around us like glitter. She brought the party wherever she went. Her newest adventure was exploring and conquering landscapes with her Jeep. She was fearless. Times spent with her son were her most treasured moments. Her little dog Boone was her lively companion.

Lisa impacted so many people in so many ways with her generosity, warm heart, love for life, adventurous spirit, and courage. She was a force and we all loved her for it.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Elaine McFee.

She is forever in the hearts of her son, Connor Elwell and his love, Ashleigh Hartford; a brother, Robert Mcfee; best friend, Leanne Tarr, and so many family members and friends who had their lives enriched by her beautiful soul.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held later in the Spring.
