WAYNE – Sandra Young Fowler, 82, passed away at home on Dec. 24, 2021.
Sandra was born Oct. 6, 1939 in Morrisville, Vermont the daughter of Willard and Shirley (Newton) Young, and moved to Maine at the age of 8.
She graduated from Dixfield High School and the University of Maine. She then taught at the high school level for several years before becoming the librarian at the Sidney Elementary School for many years.
Sandra was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2017.
She is survived by her brother, David Young, of Cumberland, her stepbrothers, Robert and Delwin Green, both of Newport, Vermont along with several step nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held at a later date in the summer.
