Thomas W. Harville

AUGUSTA РThomas W. Harville, 62, passed away on Dec. 21, 2021, after a long battle of illness at Maine General Hospital in Augusta. Tom was Born June 8,1959. He was the son of Clyde W. and Odell M. Harville. Tom graduated from Skowhegan High School with the class of 1977, and graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in business.Tom is survived by his only brother, David A. Harville of Skowhegan and his nephew Robert C. Harville of Scarborough.Tom leaves behind his partner and love of his life of 27 years, Jacqueline Pio of Palmyra. Tom would often tell stories of their travels and adventures such as, picking her up for a date in a convertible, and buying two engagement rings in the same day at the same store for her.Jacqueline has two sons whom Tom loved dearly and cared for as his own: Dustin Pio and his fianc̩e Elizabeth Matthew and their sons, Daemon Pio, 21, Elijiah Pio, 8, and Drezden Pio, 6-months, and Brian Scott and his fianc̩e Makenzie Davis and their son Stone Davis, 4.Tom loved his family and enjoyed a simple life. A collector of many things. Tom loved his cowboy boots and Elvis collection. Tom had a deep love for animals and spent the last year with his best friend and very special dog Regan. Tom at two years old was handed a paint brush dipped in water by his mother and never put it down. Tom owned a painting business as well as several rental properties, he enjoyed his business and was always hunting the next good deal.Tom was predeceased by his parents, Clyde W. and Odell M. Harville and his nephew Adam Harville.Tom will be terribly missed, he was loved by his tenants, and many friends and acquaintances. Tom leaves behind special friends Don LaRoche and Sharon Benner. Tom also leaves behind his very special friend and care taker Heather Morse, who would often times tell him she loved him like a father.Visitation will be held on Friday January 7 from 3-6 p.m., at Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave Skowhegan.Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart and Edwards Funeral Home 183 Madison Ave Skowhegan. http://www.smartandedwardsfh.com.A memorial service will be held in the spring at the Malbons Mills Cemetery in Skowhegan where the burial will take place.
