SKOWHEGAN – Evelyn Marion (Young) Bell, 95, passed quietly on Dec. 19, 2021, at the Cedar Ridge Center, following a long battle with cancer.She was born on Oct. 19, 1926, in Revere, Mass., daughter of William and Evelyn (Ross) Young. Evelyn graduated from Revere High School and attended Bryant and Stratton Business School in Boston, Mass. She was employed by Robert Lubets and Company in Boston as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper.Evelyn married the love her life, Albert Joseph Bell, on June 4, 1949. They raised two daughters, “her girls”, in Beverly, Masss., and after retirement moved to Port St. Lucie, Fla. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Albert J. Bell. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Hathorn and Deborah Clement.Her family would like to thank everyone at the Cedar Ridge Center in Skowhegan for their utmost care and respect for Evelyn during her stay with them. We would also like to thank all the staff at Maine General Hospice of Waterville for the wonderful care they showed our mother.A graveside service for immediate family will be held in the spring at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody, Mass.
