SKOWHEGAN – Nathaniel “Nate” Jeans, 34, of Skowhegan, passed away from Covid-19 complications on Dec. 31, 2021, at Redington Fairview General Hospital.Nate was born on Sept. 3, 1987, in Bremerton, Washington, son of David C. Jeans Jr. and Linda J. Blackwell. He was educated in the local school systems.He was a hard worker and was self employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to camp, working on the house, and teaching others the art of knife throwing. Nate was very creative, social and liked to spend time with his family and friends.Nathaniel is survived by his wife, Daryl (Palmer) Jeans, her children, Lydia Dixon, Joslyn Johnson and Alexandria Kim, by his mother, Linda (Blackwell) Lambert and her husband Paul, by his father, David Jeans Jr., and his wife Lorraine, his grandmother Fran Pearson, his brothers, Jacob Day and Greg Lambert, his sisters, Danielle Cooper and spouse Staci, Alisha Fox and Jennifer Jacobs, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his grandfathers David Jeans Sr., Keith Blackwell and Ivar Pearson and his grandmothers Lori Jeans and Glenna Shaver.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at 2 p.m., at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple Street, Madison.
